Louis Jackson [left] and Sam Mather were part of Manchester United's FA Youth Cup-winning squad in 2021-22

Tranmere Rovers completed the double g of Sam Mather and Louis Jackson on loan from Manchester United late on transfer deadline day.

The 2022 FA Youth Cup winners have ed up with Nigel Adkins' squad until the end of the season.

England under-19 international winger Mather, 20, made 10 appearances on loan at Rochdale last season.

Centre-back Jackson, 19, meanwhile, is a Scotland under-19 international.
