VR part of degree hoping to tackle gender violence

Imagine stepping into the shoes of a police officer arriving at the scene of a domestic violence incident.

BBC Reporter Gemma Dunstan tried out a virtual reality headset that will form part of a masters degree at Swansea University that hopes to tackle violence against women and girls.

Johanna Robinson, Wales' national adviser on violence against women and girls, welcomed the course, adding: "The dynamics of abuse are layered and complex and it is vitally important that people working with victims and survivors are fully informed."
