The evolution of London's oldest 'ocakbaşı' restaurant

For three decades, Mangal 2 has been a fixture on the London food scene. Originally launched by Ali Dirik in 1994, the restaurant faithfully recreated traditional Turkish cooking. But under the sharp-eyed direction of his sons, Sertaç and Ferhat, Mangal 2 has been re-imagined in a way that challenges and enriches the understanding of modern Turkish cuisine.
