    Tottenham 1-0 Man Utd

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven spoke to TNT Sports about the delight in winning the Europa League after an injury-ravaged season:

"Unbelievable feeling. Can't really describe it to be honest. We always believed in this squad, everybody kept believing even if we had a tough season. The fans, everybody deserves this.

"I saw the ball came in and I think it bounced off Vic's (Guglielmo Vicario) head and I was like I have to go to the goal, and at first I wasn't sure how I am going to do this and to be honest the ground over there is not soft. Happy to help the team.

"Tough season for myself with injuries, didn't play a lot but every rehab session was worth it to stand here and lift this trophy."

Only one thing for Spurs now after the win. They’ve done it apart, now let’s get it together. Kane back home to get a trophy with us under Ange. COYS!

    CD, London

Incredible what a trophy does. Ange was going to be run out of town a week ago. Maybe he knew what he was doing after all.

Even Levy and the board will not be so silly as to sack a manager who has just delivered Champions League football to a club who are no longer a top four or top five club.
