It'll be getting under way shortly.

There have now been five goals scored inside the opening five minutes of games at the European Championship this summer, already one more than at the entirety of the 2017 edition, with only the 2009 tournament seeing as many sub-five-minute goals (also five).

Karolína Lea Vilhjalmsdottir’s goal after two minutes and 35 seconds is the earliest goal Iceland have scored at the European Championships, as well as being the earliest goal Italy have ever conceded in the competition.

I think in general the Italians deserved a point and they will be buoyed by that going into their next game against Belgium.

Iceland will be very disappointed with the last chances they had.

You have to score those, especially when your next game is against .

Jonathan Avis: Italy and Iceland definitely easily the two worst teams in whole tournament, woefully inept going forward, both teams and both teams gave away chance after chance as well.

Iceland have a very tough last group game against and I think that's why we're seeing the emotions from the Iceland players because they know their chances are slim after that result.

Both teams had their moments in the game. Italy's substitutions had a great impact but in the end they just couldn't score.

Very tight game, both sides came out strong in both halves. Iceland had the better chances but I think in the end it was a fair result.

The draw leaves Group D open ahead of v Belgium.

The French top the group on three points, which is likely to become six this evening.

Iceland have two, with Italy and Belgium on one each.

Iceland face in the final game, though. Italy will fancy their chances against Belgium.

That was an odd game to dissect.

Italy had so much of the ball and enough chances to win comfortably.

But Iceland produced arguably the clearest openings and will feel they should probably have earned more.

    Another massive opportunity for Iceland!

The ball is fed to Sveindis Jane Jonsdottir, who turns her marker in the box but somehow allows the ball to get away from her before she can shoot.

That is Karolina Lea Vilhjalmsdottir's final act. On comes Selma Sol Magnusdottir to replace her.

Iceland also send on Aslaug Gunnlaugsdottir for Hallbera Gudny Gisladottir.

    Oh, what a chance!

Karolina Lea Vilhjalmsdottir has the goal at her mercy after she is found by a pull-back from Sveindis Jane Jonsdottir. She absolutely fluffs her shot, though, and sends it spinning wide. Awful.
